Before we discuss the main scripture, let’s look at some background scriptures:
Daniel 4:3 – God is the real King and His Kingdom will last forever.
Mark 1:15 – We’re in rebellion against God. We need to repent, to turn around and follow Him.
Luke 17:20-21; John 18:36 – The Kingdom of God is inside us. It’s a spiritual kingdom.
Matthew 18:3 – We need to humble ourselves before we can enter the Kingdom of God.
Ok, now, the main verse: Matthew 13:33
Yeast makes bread rise. It makes the bread soft and light. … It doesn’t take much yeast to make a lot of bread rise.
There are two key phrases in the parable in Matthew 13:33:

Yeast takes the sugar from the dough and makes carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide works through the dough, causing the dough to expand too. … What does this mean for us?
When the Kingdom of God is hidden in your life, it should permeate every area of your life and world.
God wants the kingdom of God to be in your life. The Kingdom should work in your life. When the Kingdom permeates your life, it will beĀ apparentĀ in how you live your life.
Allowing the Kingdom of God to permeate your life will raise you to another level.
1 Corinthians 15:24 – I want to be on God’s side when the Kingdom comes out of hiding. … Do you?
Matthew 6:9-10 – “Let Your Kingdom enter my life and take over my life. May Your will be done.”
