Default Little Christmas Thoughts

Little Christmas Thoughts
Anonymous

May these little Christmas thoughts add to your joy at this lovely season.

Welcome, Christmas--
You work your magic in us all.
Now we find the time for warm words, small kindnesses.
Ah--the whole world celebrates!
the ornaments upon the tree--
They're cherished one and all,
And if they could only speak,
What joys they would recall.
Love--Which is the heart of Christmas, blesses us all year through.
It's not presents and festivities
We remember from the past,
It's friendship, cheer and togetherness
That make Christmas memories last.
Everywhere people are laughing,
In the air there's a feeling of cheer,
For Christmas time--dear Christmas--
Is the happiest time of the year.
His humble birth
Blessed all the earth
With love and hope forever.
Tell the wonderful news again!
"Peace on earth! Good will to men!"
Of all the seasons
In the year,
Chirstmas is the coziest.
Oh, little carolers,
Each listening heart rejoices,
For the joy and love
Of heaven above
Is heard in your sweet voices.
Just look!
The world is Christmasing!
It's covering itself in white,
A glittering veil of snowflakes--
Can there be a lovelier sight?
Anytime and anywhere,
When people give
And people care,
When hands reach out
To help and share--
Anytime is Christmas.
Now, May the spirit of peace gently fill the heart and home with love and good will.
