Prayers for Haiti

Father I lift up your children in Haiti to You and I lift up the harvesters that are there doing Your will. I thank You that the angels are surrounding them and keeping them safe as stated in Psalm 91..Your protection over this situation is done in Jesus Name. Amen.

The scale of this disaster is only now becoming evident, the exact death toll is not known at present, but approx 3,000,000 lives has been affected by the tragic loss of buildings, and the infrastructure of the country, relief teams are being sent to help with the recovery of lives from the rubble of buildings, and for the emergency shelters that are desperately required.

Pray that this co-ordinated assistance will be set up and in place very quickly and that lives will be saved, and the homeless comforted, pray for those Christian workers active in this country to rally to the call and minister into the lives of the people, to bring hope to the hopeless, comfort to those in despair.

We don't know the rhyme or reason of earthquakes and the destruction they bring. We do know You have a plan and purpose for all things. We are asking that you be merciful. May all things be to Your glory!
