“Again, radical action is required. That action is following Jesus, but first you must change how you live if you are to truly follow Jesus.”

You CANNOT CHANGE how you live without FIRST FOLLOWING Jesus. CHANGE comes AFTER following, not the other way around. By following, you COMMIT and SURRENDER your SELF, thus, a verse “Whoever desires to come after me, let him DENY himself, TAKE UP his cross, and FOLLOW me.”

Thanks for the excellent piece about forgiveness. Many writers do not the get the facts correct about Lee Atwater’s interaction with me but you did.

I was on the board of the Mental Health Association of South Carolina before the “jumper cable” episode and after. I spoke to groups of young people with emotional problems encouraging them and offering them hope that they could overcome many of their fears of the future.

Great job as always! Overlooking offenses is huge, huh? It’s so easy to point out those of others but very difficult when confronted with our own. Keep up the good work!
